Cenedese Murano Mid-Century Art Glass Blue Opaline Casket / Box
This listing is for a lovely Cenedese Murano mid-century Art Glass casket/box made of blue opaline glass. The box has a rich cornflower blue color and is decorated with white enamel scenes on the top and on each side.

The top is painted with Pan playing music for a reclining maiden with scenic landscape background and with a smaller landscape scene on each side. The box has beveled corners and slightly rounded edges. The collars on the top and bottom of the box are silver plated. Box has a long tight hinge with the box opening and closing correctly. The locking mechanism is present, and the original key is included.

Measures 4" high, 5" long and 4 1/4" wide with the glass being about 3/8" thick. This lovely box is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no major flaws.
