Antique Bohemian MOSER Glass Casket Box Hand painted Blue Bird and Flowers

A stunning Bohemian Blue glass jewelry casket/box hand painted with a lovely bird and branch and floral design exposing the clear glass layer below, c. Measures 2 1/2" wide, 2 3/4" tall and 2 1/2 deep. Weighs around 9.4 ounces. The top of the casket is hand painted with an elaborate bird on a branch and floral design.

The design on the front is peach-colored blossoms over a gilt leaf and branch. The gilt leaf and branch design is replicated on the remaining three sides, although it has faded on 2 sides.

There is a Moser mark on the inside bottom in gilt and again on the underside of the lid. The box is rectangular shaped with a metal band encircling the lid.

The hinge does not close securely. The box is in excellent estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

There are a few spots and scratches on the bottom. We package all fragile items very carefully.
